Why Prooftide
Your originals stay on your computer
Watermarking and resizing happen right on your computer. Only the web versions are shared: never your full-resolution files.
Your clients choose with zero friction
One link, a grid of photos, one click on a heart. No account to create, no app for them to install.
One-click export, no reimporting
Once selections are made, grab the matching originals directly: no more manually matching watermarked versions to originals.

Frequently asked questions
Why download an app?
Watermarking and resizing happen right on your computer, straight from your existing photo folders: your original files never leave your machine unprocessed, and you don't have to upload hundreds of full-resolution photos just to share them. Only the watermarked, resized versions are sent to your clients, which makes the transfer much faster than sending full-resolution photos.
Why does my computer show a warning when installing the app?
The app is digitally signed, and on macOS it's also notarized by Apple. Despite that, on Windows, SmartScreen may still show a warning for a new or lightly downloaded app: that's a reputation thing that builds up over time, not a sign the file is dangerous. Click "More info", then "Run anyway". On macOS, the first launch just asks you to confirm you want to open an app downloaded from the Internet; click "Open".
What if I need more galleries, or more photos?
The Free plan allows 1 active gallery at a time, with up to 100 photos. Studio and Pro have no gallery limit at all: the only limit is the total number of photos on your account, across every gallery (10,000 with Studio, 60,000 with Pro). Upgrade to a higher plan any time to raise it. If your needs go beyond what our plans offer, contact us to talk about it.
What languages are galleries available in?
Your galleries automatically display in French, English, Spanish, or Portuguese based on your client's browser language, just like this site: there's nothing for you to set up.
What do the galleries look like?
A clean page with the gallery name, your logo if you're on the Studio or Pro plan, and a grid of thumbnails your client can select or deselect with a single click on the heart. The interactive preview below lets you browse the different gallery styles and switch languages.
