Prooftide 1.2 adds two long-requested additions: a choice of visual style for your galleries, and an automatic email when a client finishes their selection.
Until now, every Prooftide gallery looked the same: the Aurora style, warm tones and a serif typeface. That style is still the default, but ten more have joined the list: Ivory, Natural linen, Slate, Powder, Contrast, Sage, Coral, Midnight blue, Ochre, and Zesty graphite. Each pairs its own color palette with its own pair of fonts, so a gallery can match a studio's visual identity or the mood of a particular shoot.
Pick a style from the Style field when publishing a gallery, available on every plan, from Free to Pro.
The app now emails you the moment a client clicks I'm done selecting. By default that email goes to your account address, but you can change it in Settings under Notification email, and set the email's language separately.
No more checking back on a gallery over and over to see if a client is done: the email tells you, and all that's left is to open the app and export the selected originals.
Both features ship in the 1.2 update: update the app from the site to get them. The style is chosen gallery by gallery, in the Create a gallery tab; notifications are configured once in Settings and then apply to every gallery you publish.
